This is my mock tutorial on how to write a salsa song!
Several years ago I joined a Latin band. I tried to get the members to join me in collaborating on an original song. I introduced a "piano montuno", and encouraged the group to add their parts. No one responded so, with tongue in cheek, I wrote and recorded the whole song! This is the result.
