Performing and Teaching

I have been playing piano since the age of 4, performing as a single and with various bands, starting in Jr. High School. I love to perform! Majoring in composition and music education, I love to explore all styles of music and share my joy with all ages. Every time I learn how to play a new instrument, the first thing I want to do is show others how it's done! I have taught in a classroom setting, including 5th grade elementary school band. However, I find the one on one experience most rewarding, as I witness complete beginners acquire increasingly advanced performance skills.

Seeking bands or musicians to perform with

I just moved from California. I am looking to join a band (or two) or start a band with other musicians. I live in Portage, MI and have a large studio to rehearse in. I can perform as a One-Man-Band but I also love sharing my keyboard skills with others. A versatile drummer would take the place of my boring drum machine, making a great duo! Give me a knowledgable guitarist that can sing and we have a credible band. Having a real bass player (freeing up my left hand) would allow me to play better solos and sing with more focus. Speaking of singing, with all players participating with leads and harmony, we have the makings of a super group! Are there any available horn players out there?
